We are a group of doctors, nurses, and many other healthcare workers. We recognize that the medical profession is in grave danger in these times. We are aware that the overwhelming vast majority of doctors and patients oppose socialized medicine and any plan under a different name yet carrying all the same elements. Additionally, organizations like the A.M.A. have failed to truly represent the way that most of this country's doctors feel. We recognize that the A.M.A. represents a small fraction of doctors in America, and mainly sells insurance to doctors, rather than truly representing our interests. The majority of us have few resources to have a voice big enough to be heard at the national level. Our biggest resource therefore is our numbers, and the fact that we are "in the trenches" and interacting with millions of Americans daily, as colleagues, co-workers, and most importantly, patients.

While we are not a political organization, we strongly support candidates, Republican or Democrat, who will push hard and fight for these principles. We recognize that we are not a "special interest" group since our daily work directly affects the lives of each and every American and also has a tremendous impact on the overall U.S. economy.

This coalition has no sponsors, and we do not ask for any dues, fees or contributions. We are the ultimate patient advocates, and we are trying to save our profession!!!
